I didn’t grow up.

At fifteen, my life was handed to the Department of Correctional Services in the tri-state area. What followed was twenty-three years inside a system designed to erase identity. Eleven of those years were spent in solitary confinement. Others were spent in institutions for the criminally insane. That environment teaches you one thing fast: either you disappear, or you learn who you are.

I chose to learn.

The Be Urself Brand was born from that choice. Not as inspiration, but as proof. Proof that struggle is not the end of the story. It’s the beginning of clarity.

We reject the lie that broken systems define broken people. We believe pressure reveals truth. That adversity sharpens identity. That survival, when understood, becomes a skill.

This brand exists for those who’ve been tested.
