​Born from lived experience—23 years of incarceration, including 11 in solitary confinement—Be Urself transforms hardship into resilience, empathy, and action.The Be Urself 3-Level Peer Support Model is a peer-led service framework that matches service intensity to consumer need while protecting peer specialists from burnout, ethical risk, and emotional overload. It replaces flat caseloads with tiered engagement and level-specific supervision, creating a model that is ethical, scalable, and fundable.
